The Art of Acting by Stella Adler



I've heard great things about her. She taught alot of hollywood stars.An inspiring book by a great lady of the theatre. Compiled from transcripts of Adler's notes and classes, this book has 22 acting lessons that cover everything from beginner exercises to how to dress the part and create characters.

Sanford Meisner on Acting by Sanford Meisner and Dennis Longwell


Here is another great book that I have. I took a class of the Meisner Technique and it works.This book follows a 15-months acting class taught by Meisner, so you’ll get some good practical insight into his exercises and how to apply them to scenes you’re working on.
